respect

that's all I need, well, maybe some extra money...

no sponsors

I would be ale to produce the most wonderful picks of Pantanal, much nicer that I did until that moment. The problem is with lack of sponsors.I stay at home and create from my existing portfolio, because until now I did not get the sponsorship for my work and my own resources have run-out.

my interview on Dec 26, 08 with TVCA

TVCA invited me to talk about my photographic works in Pantanal. Without any doubt it was an honor. I was chosen from so many photographers to talk about the importance of that ecosystem and about supporting the region to become one the "seven natural wanders of nature".

working, NOT getting paid for my work

Again, did not get paid for the last 2 jobs, i did. Getting use to it, even though it is not an easy thing to get used to. Still have to pay the bills, eventually I will and so eventually I will resolve the payment problem. This time though, I did not get as upset as at the first time. Actually for me more important is to get a respect, but just like Rodney Dangerfield found out, it's not an easy thing.

"what do you need?"

that was the question asked by the seller in "Shopping Popular". I said " I need a girlfriend, but right now I am just looking. I wasn't lying. It's hard to have a girlfriend, if you only have the money for food. A simple, existential question.

the visitors

I missed some people visiting mu blog, although there were not too many anyway. The nature does not attract too many visitors, is it was a sex or paparazzi site, it would be different. Well, That's life.

what is the photography about?

The art of photography is not about the lens sharpness, the resolution and technical superiority, it's all about the imagination and creativity of the photographers. One can have the best equipment and take lousy, unimaginative photos. The most sophisticated camera equipment can give one a capability of taking technically superior photos, but in reality, is this the true? Are those photographs also esthetically appealing? The technical knowledge helps, but it's the only small part of the photographic creative process. Those who cannot afford expensive equipment don't have to despair. The creativity is not about money. Just relax and photograph, whatever camera you might have.
