Good News, my little winged friend is back

The Common Potoo came back to nest on the same tree. It stays motionless all the time, trying to blend into the texture of the tree.

White-eyed Parakeet. There are the band of 20-30 birds flying over Chapada dos Guimarães. Very noisy and very colourful.

Tough times

Five months into the dry season. The air is dry with the relative humidity of 10%. Bush-burning causes heavy smog all over Mato Grosso. No relief in site. The birds are only the brite site. They continue to sing, like this White-throated Kingbird.
